Girvan Distillery was established in 1963 by the Grant family with the purpose of providing it with the source of grain whisky for blending. But with the growing demand for scotch whisky and single grain whisky in general, in 2014 Girvan debuted its NAS, 25yr and 30yr whiskies.

The Girvan Patent Sill No 4 Apps takes its name from the distillery term “Apparatus”, it is a non age statement whisky, matured in a combination of first fill and refill ex bourbon casks, bottled at 42% alc/vol.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Vanilla, fresh fruit, bubblegum.

PALATE: Light, candied fruit, citrus vanilla, oak spice.

FINISH: Short, honey, hint of pepper.
