The Glenlivet is the single malt that started it all. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet, Speyside Scotland. It was founded in 1824 and has operated almost continuously since.

To truly capture the essence of George Smith’s vision, The Glenlivet Founders Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been created using the time-honored distillation methods that he introduced so long ago. Made with water from the same crystal-clear mountain streams, in the same cold, pure airs of Glenlivet, The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve is as smooth and fruity as the whisky that first ran from the original copper pot stills back in 1824.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Ripe tropical fruit, honey, and citrus.

PALATE:  Vibrant, fruity, and honeyed, sarsaparilla and baking spice.

FINISH: Short, slightly herbal.
