About
Aberlour distillery was founded over 180 years ago in the heart of the Speyside – one of the country’s premier whisky-making regions, and has a reputation of being one of the bigger sherried Speyside malts. Aberlour A’bunadh is made according to the centuries old tradition, and is a very close replica of whisky predominant hundreds of years ago. It is non chill-filtered and bottled straight out of the casks aged from 5 to 25 years at 120 proof. There is no age stamp on the label, but it is released in limited batches, with a unique batch number indicated on every bottle. A’bunadh can be roughly translated from Gaelic as “original”, and this spectacular, massive whisky completely justifies its name! Non chill-filtered, natural color, bottled at cask strength.
