About
Usquaebach (Oos: Ke: Bah) is derived from Gaelic and can be roughly translated as the “water of life”. The whisky traces back as far as early 16th century and was once reserved for royalty and nobility. Usquaebach has gone through several reincarnations and owners over the years, and the current line up consists of Old Rare, 15 year old vatted malt, and Reserve expressions. Usquaebach Old Rare is a malt heavy blended scotch whisky (85% malt), that consists of 41 Highland single malts aged up tp 20 years and 2 grain whiskys. It comes in a porcelain flagon, that replicates the original clay flagon that was used for this scotch whisky way back when. Bottled at 43% alc/vol.
