Tomintoul Distillery is located inside the picturesque Glenlivet estate, within the whisky producing region of Speyside. The distillery is named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland.
Tomintoul With A Peaty Tang Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been made with peated malt barley to give it a deep smoky flavor. This makes “Peaty Tang” very unusual, most distilleries in the Speyside region do not use peat.
NOSE: Heathery smoke, balanced with subtle floral notes.
PALATE: Gentle peat reek, hint of malty nuttiness, and fruity sweetness.
FINISH: Lingering smoke and peat, with a touch of sweetness.
