Pur Spirits is envisioned and orchestrated by Kiki Braverman and produced in an old Bavarian farm distillery under the leadership of German Master Distiller Franz Xaver Salzgeber. True to tradition, we hand craft Pur Spirits according to time-honored principles that have been passed down and refined over centuries in the northern alpine distilleries and breweries of Bavaria. There, we craft spirits of quality – distilling just a few hundred bottles per batch. By balancing modern technology with traditional recipes and techniques we give you classic spirits with a very current view on sustainability.

Pur Spirits Aperitivo Zamaro Liqueur is an aperitif-style amaro with just the right amount of bitterness. It’s inspired by the bounty of botanicals found in Bavaria’s Alps. No fake ingredients! Try in an Americano cocktail, a Negroni or a Spritz. Aperitivo zamaro is made from whole botanicals – not from flavors or extracts and it does not contain fake ingredients. No artificial dyes: Aperitivo Zamaro is colored with the bright red of real natural cochineal only – not red #5. No cloying sweetness: Aperitivo Zamaro is lightly sweetened – no high-fructose corn syrup. Shelf stable: Unlike aperitifs made with wine as the base, Aperitivo Zamaro is spirit-based and its higher ABV means that it is shelf-stable and won’t oxidize.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: The perfect amount of bitterness is balanced by the subtle sweetness of berries and oranges.

PALATE: The astringency of rhubarb, acidity of rosehips, the floral notes of rose petals and herbal taste of wormwood and anise.

FINISH: Long, bitter sweet.
