About
The Gruet family’s roots in Champagne date back to 1952 when Gilbert Gruet found Champagne Gruet in the Val de Marne. In 1987 he decided to try something completely new and started a winery in America – where he eventually founded Gruet Winery in New Mexico. His Champagne roots never left him though, and in 1993 he returned to the Val de Marne and began making wine under the Paul Laurent name. Since that time, the domaine has established itself as a fantastic source for delicious, high-acid, value Champagne.
Looking for high-quality, affordable Champagne? Look no further than Paul Laurent Brut Champagne! A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, this wine follows traditional Champagne methods of vinification and is aged on its lees for a minimum of 18 months prior to release. The predominance of Pinot noir is apparent in the bright, berry fruit aromas and a rich, mouth-filling texture. The Chardonnay lends liveliness and provides its pleasantly long, clean finish.
