The Old Pulteney distillery in Wick is the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. It is a windswept location, where the uncompromising landscape of the Highlands meets the North Sea, and the waves crash against the granite walls of the harbour. Tasting Notes
NOSE: Chocolate and creamy vanilla, with rich honey sweetness tempered by vibrant spices.
PALATE: A whisper of flowery fruitiness yields to crisp bursts of citrus, apple and Christmas cake.
FINISH: Long, zesty hints of citrus and green apple.
