Greenore single grain whiskey is produced by the Cooley distillery, founded in 1987, and located in on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth, Ireland. The distillery also produces Tyrconnell single malt whiskey, Connemara peated single malt whiskey, as well as Kilbeggan blended whiskey.
Greenore 8 Year is one of the very few single grain whiskies from Ireland, and it won Best In Class three years in a row at the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2008-2010. Bottled at 40% al/vol.

Tasting Notes
NOSE: Light and delicate, notes of lemon, honey, vanilla, caramel and tropical fruit.
PALATE: Initially sweet, with vanilla, banana, and oaky spiciness developing on the mid palate.
FINISH: Long, nuts, maple syrup, and a touch of saltiness.
