Facundo Paraiso Bahamas Rum is nut-brown in the glass, this conveys deep toffee, espresso and fudge notes, plus a heady sprinkling of baking spice. The finish is dry and spiced, flaunting dried orange peel and a light sherried note. The hefty, decorative bottle features images of the original Bacardi distillery and the Edificio Bacardi in Cuba. Part of a special-edition rum line intended to honor the founder of Bacardi and 150 years of rum-making.

About
Paraiso means ”paradise.” Steeped in Cuban tradition and brand heritage, the images on the bottle depict the golden era of Cuba. From the first distillery, owned by Don Facundo Bacardi Masso, to the magnificent Edificio Bacardi, our office in Havana. Comprised of our oldest, finest rums, the youngest rum in Facundo Paraiso Bahamas Rum is 11 years old, while the oldest has aged for 23 years in white oak barrels. After ageing, the rums are blended together and rested in French XO casks – some of these casks are more than 60 years old. This artistry results in an impeccably smooth, medium-body rum with a distinctive deep amber color – possibly the finest rum ever sipped.
