About
Cognac Park is the flagship brand of Distillerie Tessendier, a Cognac house established in 1880. Today, in its fourth generation of ownership, the Tessendier Estate maintains vineyards of more than 60 acres in the heart of one of the most exclusive growing areas of Cognac: the Borderies. Brothers and Master Blenders, Lilian and Jérôme Tessendier, expertly compose their blends with extreme attention to detail at their distillery, located in the town of Jarnac. The wines used in the distillation of Cognac Park come from four crus within the Cognac region: Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. Each year, the Tessendier family distills its Cognacs from the 3000 hectoliters of wine produced on its own estate in Borderies and buys another 40,000 hl from winemakers in the other crus, maintaining relationships that span several generations.
Cognac Park Borderies Single Vineyard Cognac is distilled from Ugni Blanc grown entirely in Borderies at the Tessendier Estate. Aged in new, lightly toasted oak barrels for 10 months, then transferred to used casks for 10–15 years. Baking spice and milk chocolate on the nose usher in the ripe tropical fruit notes and black tea tannin of this crowd-pleasing Cognac that so excellently represents the Borderies style. 40% alc/vol.
Pair with crunchy banana fritters, hot chocolate coulis, and macadamia nut brittle.
A blend of dried fruit aromas and of roasting, brought by the cognac PARK Borderies and the delicious flavors of the dessert. A perfect balance between the crunchiness of the fritter, the softness of the banana and the flavor of the chocolate with a finale reached by the Macadamia brittle.
