This Ecocert certified organic domaine in St. Emilion (a rarity for the appellation) is a jewel in Bordeaux. Made from 95% Merlot, this Chateau presents the finer, more elegant side of St. Emilion. The vineyards rest on a natural limestone amphitheater, soaking up the sun to achieve peak balance and maturity. All of the grapes are hand harvested and aged in barrique, with about 30% new barrels. This yields a silkly and terroir expressive Bordeaux that can compete with the finest in the region.
Chateau la Grangere Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is a blend of 95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from 40 year old vines, grown on a clay and limestone soils with Southeast exposure.Natural amphitheater, 100% hand harvested, aged in barrels, 30% new oak.
