About
hateau du Cros occupies a strategic position overlooking the Garonne river, upstream from Bordeaux itself. It has a long and distinguished history linking it to Richard the Lionheart and Michel de Montaigne before finally passing into the hands of the Boyer family. The Chateau itself is ruined, but the estate is thriving under the direction of Michel Boyer’s daughter Catherine d’Halluin.
Chateau du Cros Bordeaux Blanc is a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Semillon, 4% Muscadelle, made with grapes from 40 year old vines, grown sustainably and organically in sandy soils with gravel. Aged in tanks, no malo fermentation.
