The Eastern Caribbean Rum Company was established so that the traditional rum distilling and blending methods of Grenada may be preserved and passed on to future generations and to introduce our unique beverages to a wider patronage around the world. Our firm is focused on using traditional blending methods that have been developed centuries ago in the wine and spirit cellars of Europe and refined by rum producers over the past three centuries throughout the Caribbean and in Grenada in particular. This coupled with up-to-date technology and know how allow us to produce exceptional products. Canne Royale, our first export has already earned us great review form noted critics and conesures. We also produce a line of Over-proof rums that are sure to convert any cocktail lover to a rum lover too.
Canne Royale Extra Old Caribbean Rum is produced according to centuries old methods where each batch is precisely blended using rum of the highest quality, which has been aged for up to 8 years in toasted Oak barrels. During its long maturation process the rum is gradually mellowed and allowed to absorb the natural tannins of the wood giving it its dark copper color and its uncommonly smooth and balanced character. Enjoy it perfect or on the rocks.
