Caledonia Spirits is a craft distillery located on the banks of the Lamoille River in the Northeast Kingdom, and rooted in the agriculture of Vermont. Hardwick, Caledonia Country, is a community inspired by farms where the production of milk, cheese, timber, grains, honey, seeds, and herbs are part of their lives and help define their place.
Caledonia Spirits Barr Hill Reserve Tom Cat Barrel Aged Gin is created by maturing Barr Hill gin for 3 to 4 months in new American Oak barrels. The result is an outstanding old tom style gin on unbelievable complexity. Highly recommended! Bottled at 43% alc./vol.
Tasting Notes
NOSE: Juniper, oak, lemon, butterscotch.
PALATE: Juniper, pine, caramel, toffee, dust, a note of sweetness.
FINISH: Long, juniper, oak.
