About
Brenne Estate Cask is an exciting brand new single malt from France. Brenne starts in new Limousin oak barrels before being finished in Cognac casks, giving Brenne a hint of perfumed fruit that sets it apart from other whiskies. Each bottle of Brenne Estate Cask comes from a single barrel selected at its peak. The barrels are never blended. Each barrel number is stamped on the back label. Using cool fermentation and small batch production, Brenne Estate Cask is twice distilled in copper alembic stills for a smooth finish. There is no age statement on the label because Brenne Estate Cask is bottled individually by barrel, the aging for each cask differs as it depends on how long the Cognac was in the barrel before. On average, the whisky ages for a total of about 7 years. Bottled at 40% abv (80 proof).

Tasting Notes
NOSE: Intensely floral at first: roses, lilies, and magnolia. Then sweet and fruit: candy orange-cream, hint of banana, apricot, sweetened whipped cream.
PALATE: Milk and white chocolate with orange apricot cream. There is the brightness of citric acid at the mid palate expansion. Gentle soft mouth feel is light, but still silky.
FINISH: Whispy vanilla, creamy candy afterglow and a warm herbal glow, some hints of the spicy heat.
