About
Auchentoshan distillery was founded in 1800, and it is located in the west of Scotland, not far from Glasgow. It is one of three operational distilleries in the Scottish Lowlands. The name Auchentoshan is translated from Gaelic as “the corner of the fields”.
Auchentoshan 12 Year single malt whisky is made from unpeated malt, triple distilled and bottled at 80 proof, and therefore has a very distinct and delicate character, unlike many other scotch whiskys.
