Antinori Peppoli Chianti Classico is a fun, zippy wine to enjoy with pizza or pasta at your local trattoria. It is a lean red wine with the fresh aromas of cassis, cranberry, blue violet and grilled herb that are characteristic of Sangiovese. This wine shows easy purity with a light, garnet color. The acidity is glossy and bright. Peppoli can be a bit closed, but it awakens quickly with a few swirls of the glass.
