Aberfeldy distillery has been founded in 1896 by John Dewar & Sons Ltd, and is situated in the center of Scotland, right on the boundaries of the town by the same name. It relies on the fresh water stream Pitilie Burn, and utilizes only Scottish yeast and barley. Aberfeldy is considered to be one of the most sophisticated and finest Highland malts.

Laid to rest for 16 years in handmade oak casks, Aberfeldy 16 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky is finished in first fill Oloroso sherry casks to impart a subtle fruitful nature and a roundness to the whisky.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Exhaling honey, citrus and spicy cloves.

PALATE: Sherried and full like fruitcake, then dabs of rich dark chocolate

FINISH: Soothing and mouth-coating.
